As a chef, I've tried every kind of knife you can imagine. In 1993 I used my first Ron Gaston knives. At the time, they were my fav orite knives.

 

When 1997 came along I discovered William Henry knives. They were just as good of quality as the Ron Gaston knives, but more comfortable for my work environment.  I swore on their quality for a few more years.

 

Once 1999 came along, I then switched to Chris Reeve knives. Once again they were an improvement. Since then I've tried strider knives too and even some handmade knives. But, I still prefer my Chris Reeve knives.
